Licensed, insured, rehearsed.

How we plan, crew and fire — and the conditions under which we'll stand an effect down.

Safety & compliance

The boring part we take most seriously.

Pyrotechnics near a crowd is a licensed activity. Here is exactly how we work, what we carry, and what we will refuse to do.

Site recce before we quote

We walk the venue, mark firing positions, measure fallout zones and check overhead rigging and exits. If a position can't be made safe, it doesn't go on the cue sheet.

Written cue sheet, signed off

Every effect, its position, its timing and its operator, on one document agreed with you and the venue before load-in. Nothing gets fired that isn't on it.

Licensed operators only

Live pyro is fired by licensed crew, never by venue staff, the DJ, or a guest. Cold sparks and CO₂ are crewed too — proximity is what makes them safe, not luck.

Exclusion zones held during the show

Zones are marked at load-in and physically held by crew while anything is live. We stop the show rather than fire into a zone someone has wandered into.

Fire cover and make-safe

Extinguishers at every firing position, a full make-safe pass on any unfired product, and a clean site handover before we leave.

What we carry

LicensingLicensed for the pyrotechnic classes we fire. Current certificates go to your venue and planner as part of every booking.
Public liabilityInsured for live special effects work. Certificate of currency available on request before you book.
Indoor capabilityCold sparks, CO₂, low fog, confetti, petals, bubbles and balloons are all indoor-safe subject to venue sign-off and smoke-detector isolation.
Outdoor capabilityFull aerial and ground pyrotechnics, flame projectors and gerbs, subject to local permission and wind limits.
Wind limitsAerial work stands down above the limit on the risk assessment. We will cancel an effect on the night rather than fire it outside its envelope.
Venue liaisonWe deal with the venue's technical and fire officers directly, and supply the documentation they need ahead of load-in.
